JUNIOR TENNIS

The Club offers a robust Junior Tennis program for those 5 - 17 years old.

Our teaching progression ranges from those just starting out who need a lighter, bigger, slower ball to those looking to compete at the varsity level in high school.

Sessions run seasonally in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.

Fall 2024 enrollment is now open! Click below for further details.

Please note that prices shown are for full members, final price is based on membership status at the time of registration.

OUR TEACHING PROGRESSION

RED BALL - AGES 5-8

Players will use a ball that is bigger, slower and lighter. We will use games and team activities to practice movement to the ball, balance and body control. Plays will learn how to rally under control.

ORANGE BALL - AGES 7 - 10

Orange balls are the same size as a standard yellow tennis ball. They are a bit lighter and bounce lower. Players will work on stroke mechanics, point development and match tactics

GREEN BALL - AGES 9-12+

As players get bigger and build their strokes, movement and tactics, they move to the regulation tennis court. The Green Ball, which is lighter and slower than the yellow ball will promote longer rallies and ability to get to more balls.

JDT - AGES 12+

Junior Development Training is a program created for players who are looking to compete in USTA tournaments or play at the varsity level in high school. Before registering for JDT the player must be evaluated by one of our tennis professionals

ADDITIONAL CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE TO OLDER, LESS EXPERIENCED PLAYERS.
